Pupicide Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) – Pyriproxifen

LIMITOR 0.5 GR works uniquely in controlling mosquito larvae/larvae, especially disease-transmitting mosquitoes/vectors. It works by not killing/killing larvae/larvae, but only inhibiting the emergence (Emergence Inhibition) of adult mosquitoes from pupae (Pupasida).

As an IGR it also works by influencing the physiology of insect morphogenesis, reproduction and embryogenesis. The influence of LIMITOR morphogenesis is seen in the larva-pupa or nymph-adult transformation phase. The existence of LIMITOR causes various kinds of failures in the insect metamorphosis process. By working in this way, LIMITOR is able to prevent the population growth of the next generation of mosquitoes.

LIMITOR 0.5 GR can be applied to control larvae in water for drinking/potable water purposes.
